Lazy TV Ranch is a progressive, family-owned cattle and farming operation with locations near Selby and also Mound City, SD. We run 900 cows and market 200 Angus, SimAnus and Balancer bulls annually along with growing crops and feed.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a ranch manager to work alongside 1 to 2 employees and oversee daily operations at our north ranch (Mound City). Responsibilities include caring for a 550-head cow herd during winter calving with night checks, keeping cattle records, feeding, monitoring herd health and treating sick animals, AIing, repairing/building fence, haying, maintaining irrigation pivot and other equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, be willing to work extended hours during peak seasons (calving and haying), ability to handle physical labor in all weather conditions, minimum of 2 years experience calving out heifers and cows (experience with a registered herd is a bonus), experience operationg farm machinery.
