KEN THORSTENSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The family of Ken Thorstenson established this scholarship in loving memory of a man who loved family, farming & raising cattle. Ken was a generous support of youth, junior Gelbvieh associations & 4-H. He had a heart for those who were less fortunate, & those not necessarily “straight A” students. This scholarship reflects the sentiments held by Ken.

After 12 years, we have decided to open this scholarship up to students outside of Selby Area School. Three $1,000 scholarships are available to graduating seniors who are pursuing a minimum of an associate’s degree at a college, university or technical institute. Preference will be given to students with financial need who have declared a major area in an agricultural-related field.

Thank you for your interest in the Ken Thorstenson Memorial Scholarship. Please complete the application below & return by April 15 to Lazy TV Ranch, 12980 Cedar Rd., Selby, SD 57472 or email vwthor@sbtc.venturecomm.net
